Editorial Policy
This page explains how AppKhoj creates and maintains its guides, so that you can judge how much to trust them.
Our principles
- Original writing: every guide is written for AppKhoj in our own words. We do not paste publisher descriptions or copy other websites.
- Usefulness first: a guide should answer practical questions: what the game is, how it plays, what it costs, who it suits and what to be careful about.
- Honesty about money: when a game uses advertisements, random-item purchases or subscriptions, we say so plainly.
- Family awareness: we mention online chat, dark themes and spending risks where they matter for younger players.
How a guide is made
We start from the official store listing to confirm the developer, category, size, version and basic features. We then write about gameplay, controls, strategy and suitability using general knowledge of the game and its genre, and we avoid claims we cannot support, such as exact prices or rankings that change often. Before publishing, we check that the text is original, readable and free of exaggerated promises.
Updates and corrections
Games change through updates, and some are discontinued. We review pages periodically, and we remove games that shut down, become unsafe or no longer fit our guidelines. If you find an error, email info@appkhoj.com with the page address and the correction. We will check it and update the page when appropriate.
Advertising and independence
AppKhoj may display advertisements from third parties. Advertisers do not influence what we write, and we do not accept payment to change a guide's opinion. We do not claim any official relationship with the developers we cover.
Content we do not publish
We do not list real-money gambling apps, games with graphic violence or sexual content, hateful or dangerous apps, unofficial or modified installers, or software that violates the rules of the official stores.
